Employee Engagement Gets Better With Age

Employee Engagement Gets Better With Age

It is no accident that the word age is embedded in engagement.

Sirota Survey Intelligence completed a recent assessment of employee engagement differences across generations. Except for employes age 63 and older the differences between employees’ levels of engagement in their work is fairly narrow around 77% to 80%.

The Traditionalist generation - ages 63 and older  - were the most engaged in their jobs with an engagement level of 84%. We neglect the value of older workers yet Siorta’s research is indicating that this is an overlooked resource of loyal and enthusiastic workers.
